OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE PARISH SUNDAY BULLETIN GOES DIGITAL IN THE MONTH OF MARY By: Fr. Javier MG, Parish Priest.

Dear parishioners of Guadalupe,
I’m sure that we are all “dreaming” for an end to this pandemic situation.
People die or get infected out of his/her, face financial and job challenges,
everyday wearing and removing a mask with which we were not born, etc. But
we also have, opportunities of finding God and strengthening our domestic
church. This pandemic situation will soon come to an end; the only immortal
and endless being is God.

In this time we are confined indoors but not quite; as far as we are humans
we still need to communicate. Communication is essential to us. Communication
is good and it’s a gift coming from God. And Mary, our Mother is a role model of
communication with God. Mary agreed to be a humble servant of the Lord so
that the best of His communication – Jesus Christ – to us humans, may be
brought to us through her.
Our community life in the church – Our Lady of Guadalupe – needs to
develop new ways of communication. We had said before that “domestic
church” is the ever original church, since our individual faith comes mainly from
our family life; it goes live through communication. We recently sent a format of
a “Celebration of the Word at home”, in which we encourage all parents and
guardians to make use of it through communication. This church will strengthen
the parish life, having a particular positive impact in the daily communication of
our small Christian communities.
Another good opportunity of gaining in communication is to develop our
Sunday bulletin in digital mode. Today we are trying to bring it to you posting it
in the Guadalupe web site www.guadalupeparishke.org
We will have our readings, the Prayer to Our Lady of Guadalupe in times
of Trial, church announcements, and an article on mothers’ day written by our
parish moderator. Please, feel free to participate. It will strengthen our always
needed parish communication.
May the Lord bless this new way of evangelizing and bringing the parish news
near to us
